My Daughter Got Married Today

I have always wanted my girls to get married to a man they truly love. One who is kind, a gentleman who will open car doors for them, make them laugh, one who is smart and treats them like a princess.
Holli found that in D.j. and she married him on June 1, 2014.
The day was magical...The day was priceless.
There was so much love between them that you could feel it just looking at them. I have been to weddings before but I have never seen this kind of love between two people.
I watched my husband walk her down the aisle to the most beautiful music I had ever heard. I don't think that there was a dry eye there. The look on D.j.s face as he saw her come down the aisle to become his wife was a look I will never forget.  She was radiant, she was glowing, and she was beautiful.
I will treasure that day forever. I was so proud to be her Mother. I watched the ceremony and saw Katie dabbing the tears from her eyes.
The most wonderful speeches were given before dinner and as Katie spoke the words to her sister she had written, she said, " Holli is not only my sister, but my best friend, and I know she will always be there for me".....my tears came...Happy tears I call them.
Her Dad then did his speech and toast and I know he was nervous, but he did amazing. At one point Holli took her white napkin and put it to her face. As Clyde looked at Katie and then to Holli he broke down and so did most of the guests. I was so proud of his words he spoke. They were truly from his heart.
We are so blessed to have D.j in our family. He is a wonderful man and loves Holli beyond words. I know they are going to have a long life together as Man and Wife and now we look forward to grandchildren but after they enjoy married life together. We are so blessed.
